We worked with SMT to determine which digital organizing tools made the most sense for us and set them up so our team could use them. We implemented Action Network, which helped us launch a big deportation defense campaign for one of our longtime members. But the biggest factor that contributed to our success in the campaign ended up being the publicity and media coverage. SMT coached us through every step of this process – from press releases, to media contact lists, and planning and organizing a press conference.
Thanks to the media coverage and publicity, we were able to get 20+ elected officials to sign on to a letter to pressure the IL Attorney General, and eventually our member was freed and was able to return home to his family.

SMT coaching has been super helpful. The assessment is super thorough, and made us think about a lot of questions we didn’t think about before. It’s helped us tackle two major issues: 1) our activist pipeline and 2) our CRM, EveryAction. They’ve put time and thoughtfulness into the coaching sessions to get to know us and the needs we have.
