Since 2018 Tristan (they/them) has worked on direct action and advocacy campaigns to end the threat of nuclear war and encourage restorative justice for the communities nuclear weapons have already harmed, including extending the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act. While working with Beyond the Bomb and Global Zero they developed and implemented a scalable national field plan to equip activists through a decentralized model that prioritized intersectionality and community building, resulting in the creation of dozens of national hubs. In 2019 Tristan launched the Future First Fellowship, creating a pipeline for primarily BIPOC and impacted communities to become leaders in non-proliferation advocacy. Outside of ending nuclear war Tristan has organized across Ohio, where they live, to defend reproductive freedom.
