The UBC and SMT are partnering to make SMT’s 9-month online Digital Campaigning Certificate Program available to all UBC councils, locals and staff at one third of regular cost ($650 USD instead of $2000 USD). This program is designed to bring all staff involved in new organizing, contract campaigns, coalition work, GOTV and ballot initiatives and any other work of building the labor movement, up to the cutting edge with organizing in the digital age.

Live sessions start in September 2021, but registrants have immediate access to all of SMT’s recorded courses.

All sessions will be recorded for later viewing as needed. Although recordings can be shared internally, anyone who needs their own access to live sessions or wants to earn a Certificate will need their own registration. Details on the program as well as testimonials.

Each registrant and their supervisor (if they have one) must complete this registration form before payment is submitted, or along with payment.

A minimum of 15 people per session cohort must register here in order for the discounted rate to apply.

There are a bunch of free and super reasonably priced webinars available so you can jump right in and focus on what you need to improve.The webinars have just been stellar. I've learned so much, especially from the Top Tools and Tactics to bump up your organizing game. I used the templates and resources to set up an editorial calendar and to track stats for our new social media channels. It was very easy to take what was presented in the training and apply it to my union immediately.
